GRID Nepal has established a Solar Agro Enterprises in Ichhyakamana-6, Chitwan (Chepang Village) on June, 2018. This program was supported by Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited. Two Solar Conduction Dryer were installed at Admara Village. GRID Nepal has also shared knowledge on Renewable Energy based technology and its processing unit to the chepang communities. In this context GRID Nepal has linked up market to their agro product (Introducing local brand to national and international market) in coordination with Rasanpani Private Limited.
GRID Nepal in collaboration with implementing partner Natural Nutritious Agro Products (NANU), is implementing a project entitled “Hot water pasteurization of substrate for oyster mushroom farming” from June 2018. The main objective of the project is to develop an alternative device and method of pasteurization of paddy straw (Substrate) for oyster mushroom cultivation, (Solar water heater-based pasteurization system).
GRID Nepal in collaboration with DAP, Australian Embassy and Gulmi Darbar Rural Municipality is implementing the project entitled "The Application of Solar Water Pumping for sustainable development of Agriculture at Charkhutte, Balithum, Gulmidarbar Rural Municipality, Gulmi District, Nepal" . The project started on November 2018 and will end on December 2019. The main objective of the project is to increase agriculture productivity using Solar PV energy through irrigation and enhance the livelihood of the locals.
GRID Nepal has done verification of deviated case found in QA and M of SHS in the field as monitoring consultant of Alternative Energy Promotion Center/ National Rural and Renewable Energy Program (AEPC/NRREP).
Grid Nepal has monitored Institutional Solar System in the field as monitoring consultant of Alternative Energy Promotion Center.
Monitoring work related to Small Home Solar System was carried out by Grid Nepal as Consultant of Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC) and Energy Sector Assistance programmer (ESAP).
Grid Nepal has monitored 12th round quality assurance of Solar Home System as monitoring consultant of Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC), National Rural and Renewable Energy Programmer (NRREP).Work was carried out by File Staff including data operator and team was lead by solar energy expert Dr Dinesh Kumar Sharma representing Grid Nepal.
Awareness Cum Interaction Program related to renewable energy was conducted on May 2006 at Tanahaun District with the support of government Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MOEST) and Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC) Lalitpur.
Planning, Development, Implementation and Post implementation were the phases carried out in 4 community of Gulmi District for community base water supply and sanitation program with support of Government Nepal in assistance of Asian Development Bank. The service is provided in association of GRID Nepal Gulmi branch headed by Mr. Dilly Ram Adhikari and the team.
Solar water pumping project is completed in Bhujikot Tanahun District where 67 houses with more than 435 people were supported by World Bank, under the national competition of Nepal Development Market palace 2005 “Launa abata kehi garaun”.
